The best option would be to prepare three appetizers, two main courses with a side dish of your choice (meat and fish), three salads, and a dessert. Also, don't forget the vegetables and fruits.
2021 is the year of the Ox. Therefore it is not recommended to serve beef dishes on the New Year's table.
- Decide on drinks.
Consider the preferences of all family members and guests. Champagne is considered a traditional drink of the New Year. However, you can replace it with wine or whiskey.

There is no definite answer since it all depends on the number of guests and the range of products you want to buy.

Then, with the help of the program, we found the cheapest store where you can buy almost all the necessary products. As a result, the cost of a New Year's basket amounted to 1,647.57UAH, which is 5% more expensive than last year.
The cost of a traditional salad "Olivier" (about 1.5 kg) in 2021 is about 173 UAH, which is 21 UAH more expensive than last year. Regarding meat products, 500 g of boiled pork costs 99 UAH, 500 g of smoked sausage - 93.50 UAH, for 1 kg of chicken fillet you need to pay 119.18 UAH. Compared to last year, meat products will cost 15% more. The most expensive at the New Year's holiday will be strong alcoholic beverages, the price of which also increased by 4%.
