How can I help during the war?
Helping Ukraine
War is not only the business of those who stand on the front line, protect our regions at checkpoints or catch saboteurs and other “enemies” in the cities.
War is everyone's business. And even if your region has not been affected by active hostilities, you can also bring our victory closer and help those who are in hot spots at this very moment.
What exactly can you personally do, read further in the article.
Financial assistance to the Army
We offer several simple ways to transfer money to help the army.

Blood donation
Donor centers are strategically stocked with blood in case of a large number of wounded. But the centers do not need “excess” blood, because conditionally it can be stored for about 30 days. Before you donate blood, it is better to check in your region what type of blood really need now.
Recall that any capable citizen of Ukraine over the age of 18 who has passed the appropriate medical examination and who has no contraindications determined by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine can become a donor.
More detailed information about contraindications and requirements before donating blood is available on the website of the Public Health Center of Ukraine.
A map with working donor centers is here.
Helping refugees
Many people are forced to leave their homes. Some of them will still be able to return to their homes, while others no longer have a home. Some of the refugees remain on the territory of Ukraine, temporarily “settling” in safer regions (the central and western parts of the country).
These people are in dire need of help and support. What can you personally do?
- Provide shelter to a family at home
At least temporarily. In a cozy homely atmosphere, people can rest a little and calm down. It doesn't have to be a long stay. Someone just needs a “transit” point between a hot spot and a new country. This is especially true in Western Ukraine. Now it is almost impossible to find housing in Lviv or Truskavets. But even in the same Dnipro, the topic of housing for migrants is quite relevant. Many fled here from shelling in Kharkiv.
How to do it? Ask around among your friends if any of them need housing in your city. Post a post on the social network that you are ready to accept people from hot spots.
- Help with groceries or essential household items
Now is a great time to clear your apartment of unnecessary things and at the same time help your neighbor. Bed linen, blankets, pillows, dishes - all this is required in large quantities by the centers of refugees.
Information about the necessary needs is easy to find on the social network. But if you don’t see it, actual needs are voiced by volunteers in official channels (see below).
- Help through volunteers
Everything is as simple as possible. Keep a list of channels. There is a general channel and there are channels for cities. They constantly organize donations for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and refugees.

By the way, in addition to financial assistance, volunteers always need labor: to distribute things, to cook food, to make purchases or help with transportation. Everyone can participate.
Weaving camouflage nets
On Facebook, volunteers have created a profile dedicated to weaving camouflage nets. It has all the up-to-date information on where and how you can contribute.
By the way, if physical labor does not suit you, take part in the informational process. Spread the word about where in your city, neighbors, and friends can join this noble cause.
It will not be superfluous to help with materials. Look for scraps of dark fabric or old items that can be used for weaving and take them to volunteers.
Information support
Volunteers or, conversely, those who find themselves in a difficult situation, often post offers to help or ask for help on social networks. Make reposts. Thanks to your repost, someone will receive the necessary medicine, someone will find a home, and someone will be able to get out of the war zone.
Got information that might be useful to others? Schedule of evacuation trains, free housing for refugees, transport options, etc. Post it on your page.
Supporting the country's economy
While part of the country is subject to active hostilities, the other part of it should not sit idle and suffer. Let’s work everyone! who can. Printing, catering, hairdressers, beauty salons, clothing stores should gradually return to working mode. At least as much as possible.
Separately, I would like to dwell on the service sector. Girls, keep looking after yourself. An untidy appearance will not help the army in any way. But a working business for the overall economic picture will only benefit.
There is no need to condemn those who try to live on. Cities that are quiet should work. Exact these cities are now accepting people who are homeless. This is the rear. And each of us can take part in strengthening this rear.
The breakdown and whining only make it worse for you. And reduces the morale of the country. Therefore, we hold on and work as much as possible.
Help and thank...
Low bow to everyone who helps Ukraine win. There is no small help here. Any contribution is invaluable. Any contribution is a step towards victory.
And special thanks to our soldiers. You are the power and strength of our country. Thanks to you, new days come for civilians.
Glory to Ukraine, friends!
